Foundational components of the Real-Time Innovations Connext Drive are now certified ISO 26262 ASIL D, which is the most stringent level of ASIL for road vehicles. Connext Drive forms the basis of the software framework for many production vehicles on roads today. According to RTI, the certification should give vehicle makers confidence in the architecture for safety-critical applications, including in ADAS and autonomous vehicles.

Furthermore, with today’s announcement, Connext Drive now supports QNX OS for Safety to ISO 26262 ASIL D.
