Matter Engineering has for years been associated for state of the art solid particle counting. Matter has already been involved since the mid-90’s with characterizing and counting of combustion generated solid nano particles.

The state of the art R83 standard is a measuring method developed by Matter Engineering 10 years ago. Our NanoMet-C was the first instrument capable of measuring/counting nano soot particles from vehicles.

The namomet-C has been replaced since with a new instrument (ViPR) which includes all requirements from a modern test bench, AK Protocol, embedded software, rugged, small and accurate.

The increasing importance in the industry of accurate and cost effective testing has become a significant issue for everyone. Our vast experience in nanoparticle and exhaust gas technologies has allowed us to develop a brand new instrument series that allows measuring a large number of vehicles within a short time.
