ED USA, Corp: Vehicle network diagnostic solutions

At the Automotive Testing Expo North America, ED USA, Corp exhibited its latest range of diagnostic tools for vehicle network

ED USA, Corp has developed the DiNAMITe system, which can used in the automatic validation process of electronic modules. Many similar tools offered can execute specific tests to validate an ECU for specific parameters provided by the customer. But because there are numerous tests, users must buy different tools and spend a long time executing all of these tests with the supervision of an expert electronic engineer.

Instead, the DiNAMITe system provides users with hardware to automatically execute all the tests for the validation of an ECU. All that users have to do is set-up the specific parameters required. This process saves time and money.

Having created DiNAMITe, the R&D Department at ED USA Corp, has also developed DiNECk , which is a diagnostic tool designed to easily resolve the complex issues of CAN protocol communication.

Currently, a big problem arises with the installation and connection of many devices working on different platforms and with various S.O. Through Ethernet/Wi-Fi network, without complex configurations, DiNECk works on the vehicle’s network to exchange data between different devices (PC Windows/Linux, iPhone, iPad and Android) using the OBD connection.

The software automatically performs low level communication with devices on a CAN network and resolves any connection issues. It also manages response timing and the fault signals on all functional levels (CAN BUS Layer/UDS protocols).

With DiNECk it is easy to flash the firmware and update acquiring specific data from the vehicle, as well as monitor the data flow of the vehicle’s network.

Integrated with the new tool, DiNET is able to emulate different electrical loads. The system can simulate all the nodes, uploading specific digital and analogue signals and managing the output signals.
